Dear friends of the Agile Cologne,

during the last years, a stable and constantly growing agile community formed itself in and around Cologne.

We are delighted that the Agile Cologne has evolved into something of a family reunion for this community and is increasingly attracting supraregional guests. It electrifies us every time anew, to see the diversity of content grow and to feel your energy and enthusiasm, to prepare topics for the Agile Cologne.

Offering you the space to do so is our motivation. In our opinion the family character of the event plays a major role. So far we have tried to maintain this character by limiting the amount of participants to a certain extent.

Recently the interest has increased so much that for the first time more of you didn’t get a ticket than could be there. We are so happy to see so much interest! But we also see it as a signal: the family has grown and needs a bigger house. What kind of family reunion would it be if the larger part of the family is unable to attend?

That's why we started the search for and found a place for the anniversary edition of the Agile Cologne in September with the Dorint Hotel an der Messe Köln, where the family can come together again as a whole.

We deliberately chose this experiment and we want to try to reestablish all aspects that have so far determined the quality of Agile Cologne.

These include the open space as a central element of participation as well as Paul's coffee bar, a free and good food throughout the day, the selection of enough space, accessibility by public transport or the availability of ample parking.

We are glad, that Birgit Nieschalk supports us to host our 10. Agile Cologne.
